| Abstract |
The author gives a brief survey of current methods of rearing littoral Cephalopoda in the laboratory. Results are discussed in regard to their application in the study of life cycles and population dynamics. Emphasis is placed on the fact that laboratory results alone, however important they are, do not suffice for a definitive interpretation of isolated field data. |
