Since its inception, the VLIZ Library has been sending out a weekly newsletter to highlight its latest publications. On 3 May 2024, the 1000th edition of the Library Acquisitions email was distributed—a significant milestone in the 25-year history of the research institute.
The VLIZ Library manages the most extensive collection of marine literature in Flanders, making it publicly accessible to as wide an audience as possible. Through the Open Marine Archive, users can access tens of thousands of publications for free from the comfort of their homes. The Library Acquisitions email keeps subscribers updated on the latest additions to this vast collection every week.
