| Abstract |
Regstatx is a suite for the execution of regression analysis based on towing tank results to provide the ship manoeuvring simulators with mathematical models. Regstatx consists of different cycles which perform the same actions. In each cycle manoeuvring coefficients are determined by selecting first the appropriate input data and present it in a suitable format as input to the regression core. This regression core is called ODRPACK.This report describes the new programs developed based on ODRPACK 5.0 and which will run in conjunction with Regstatx 4.0. Important improvements with respect to ODRPACK 4.0 are the full compatibility with SOW XML, the inclusion of boundary conditions to the regression coefficients and the smooth integration with the graphical user interface of Regstatx 4.0. |
