Abstract
Sea-level studies encompass a wide range of timescales of interest and a large number of associated measurement techniques. In this paper a review is given of recent research based on the analysis of data from geological, archaeological, tide gauge, satellite and other sources and on the computer modelling of ocean processes and climate change. The field has never been wider or more active and is growing as new techniques are applied.
