The first chapter is a survey of the very interesting and rich history of this natural site. The next chapters are a survey of the unique natural value of this salt-marsh: the very rich fauna of the mud flats; the typical halophytes or plants of this very salt-rich habitat; and the very special bird-life (as well breeding birds as migrants) of such a habitat. |
