Abstract
Examples of mathematical analysis of two- and three- dimensional flow in anisotropic aquifers are given. The influence of dispersion is being discussed. Quality of water from drains and partially penetrating wells in an aquifer with an arbitrary initial distribution of groundwater quality is analytically determined as a function of time.
