Abstract
In order to study the roles of SF-1, estrogen receptor (ER) and Krox-24 of the African catfish on the regulation of gonadotropin subunit gene expression, we cloned their cDNAs. In addition we also cloned the genes for the common glycoprotein hormone (GP) alpha -subunit, the LH beta -subunit and the transcription factor SF-1.
