Abstract
Differential sensitivity of oocytes in different stages of development to extreme temperatures was tested for tilapia, Oreochromis mossambicus, and rainbow trout, Onchorhynchus mykiss. Specific disturbances of oocytes were found to be dependent upon temperature and some stages were noticed to be particularly sensitive.
