Abstract
    Using differential display PCR (DDPCR) and subtractive PCR, 3 differentially expressed cDNAs were isolated from ovulatory and post-ovulatory ovaries of the rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and brook trout (Salvelinus fontinalis). One of the cDNAs, was originally isolated using DDPCR on phorbol ester stimulated brook trout ovaries. This cDNA presumably encodes for a 302 amino acid protein similar to several members of the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) family and was upregulated at the completion of ovulation in the trout ovary
