Abstract
The chapters in this section review various aspects of the impact of climate change on marine biodiversity and ecosystems. This synthesis chapter for this section aims to summarize the main finding from the various contributions on the effects of global change on ecosystem functions and services, and put it in the context of the broader understanding of the changing ocean biodiversity and ecosystems under climate change.
