Abstract
    Sediments and fossil shells attached to a mammoth tibia and vertebrae dredged from the Eurogeul (The Netherlands) are investigated. From the sediments and shells it is deduced that the mammoth remains must have been deposited in a fluvial setting during the last glacial.
