Abstract
The project contains a series of research actions yielding optimal use of a computer controlled towing tank for manoeuvres with ship models in shallow water:

  • selection of a mathematical manoeuvring model;
  • development of a procedure for determination of an experimental program;
  • development of a procedure for processing results of captive manoeuvring tests into a mathematical model;
  • development of a validation procedure;
  • development of a quality control strategy.
