Diversity and evolution of nematodes and their interactions with other organisms. Phylogenomics of free-living nematodes and application of metabarcoding in assessing the resilience of ecosystems are of particular interest. Now I teach nematode identification to researchers from various disciplines who want to use nematodes as their study objects. I started as a taxonomic editor of Nemys (World Database of Nematodes) in 2015. Same year I received LifeWatch Data Grant to update part of the database: taxonomy, environmental data, type localities, original descriptions. My current priorities include unification of free-living and parasitic nematodes in Nemys, promotion of the use of Nemys/WoRMS taxonomy in research projects and databases, expansion and improvement of identification tools available in Nemys/WoRMS.
