Dr Jo Foden is a marine ecosystem scientist at Cefas with more than 10 years professional experience. Her expertise includes the ecological impacts of human activities on marine ecosystem structure and function, spatial planning, policy development, scientific programme leadership and the provision of advice to the UK government and European Commission. She has considerable experience in interpreting and implementing a range of environmental policy commitments, such as OSPAR and EU Directives and has conducted the formal marine environmental assessments for these policies. | |
