Dr Mascart, Thibaud

Dr. Thibaud Mascart is a scientific project officer responsible for the training and exchange of best practice for the EMBRIC project promoting the European Blue Bio-economy. As a marine biologist, he gained experience in Mediterranean seagrass ecosystems, trophic interactions and benthic invertebrate ecology, in particular copepods. During his joint PhD at Ghent University and University of Liège he investigated the meiofauna community dynamics in leaf litter accumulations by means of trophic biomarker analysis, eco-morphological investigations and in-situ colonization experiments. In addition, he currently works on communication and dissemination of the EMBRC infrastructure, with a focus on the Marine Training Platform, promoting Blue-careers.
