Hand trawling data are collected by the hand trawling association "De Slepers".
Annually, a number of hand trawling competions are organised, in which each club member can participate. more
Per contest, the weight of the caught shrimp is recorded for each hand trawler. At the end of the season, the hand trawler with the highest weight of caught shrimp is declared the best hand trawler of the season.
