Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with governmental guidelines, VLIZ is taking various measures to protect the health and safety of our employees and their contacts, as well as to limit the impact on the continuity of our activities and our cooperation with partners.
VLIZ remains committed in marine science, but the vast majority of its employees is working from home. If you have any questions, please consult your trusted contact persons. The offices of VLIZ, including the library, are temporarily not open to visitors. In certain cases, the Marine Station Ostend is accessible to scientists from other institutions, however only by appointment.
