The GOSR2020 report arrives with new figures on the workforce, infrastructures, equipment, funding, investments, publications, data flow and exchange policies, as well as differences in national science policy strategies. In this second edition, it also covers four additional topics: the contribution of ocean sciences to sustainable development, blue patent applications, a gender analysis and capacity development in ocean science.
