Registration
Registration for IDS 2012 is only possible online. Payment can be made by credit card or by bank transfer (instructions can be found on the online registration page, see link below). Please carefully read and closely follow all instructions to avoid problems with registering and/or payment.
Registration deadlines
- Early Bird registration: June 1st at 12 pm sharp
- Late registration: August 1st 2012 at 12 pm sharp (note that the deadline for abstract submission is May 1st)

Note that at least one author of each accepted abstract has to be registered by June 15th in order to be included in the congress program.
Delegate and student/retired delegate fee includes access to scientific sessions, welcome reception, 4 lunches, coffee breaks and drinks during the poster sessions. Evening dinners, closing banquet and the optional mid-week excursions are not included in the registration fee.
Accompanying person’s fee includes welcome reception, 4 lunches, coffee breaks, closing banquet and excursion of choice.
Students have to forward a signed letter from their supervisor to certify their student status!
Note that membership of ISDR costs £ 40 for regular members (about 46 € in November 2011) or £ 25 for students, so by becoming an ISDR member before registration you not only support the Society, but you also save money, and you will receive the journal Diatom Research including electronic access to the full digitized back catalogue.
