Abstract
The optimum dose of methyltestosterone (MT) and treatment for inducing sex reversal in the immature female sevenband grouper, Epinephelus septemfasciatus were examined. Silastic-capsule implantation at a dose of 2 mg MT/kg fish was more effective than oral administration (10 mg MT/kg diet) for inducing sustainable sex reversal in the sevenband grouper.
