By public transport


Train

The Oostende station is about a 10-minute walk away. Cross the bridge opposite the station, go slightly to the right, then immediately left, towards the large church (St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church). Keep left of the church, continue straight ahead, until you reach the tram tracks. Turn right here. The Grote Post is 150 meters further on your right-hand side. 


Coast Tram 

Trams stop near De Grote Post (about 100 meters away) at the Marie-Joséplein stop. From Oostende train station, it’s one stop on the tram towards De Panne.


By bike

There are bike racks at the front of the cultural centre (Hendrik Serruyslaan) and at the side of the building (Wittenonnenstraat).


By car

If you arrive via the E40/A10, take the second exit at the roundabout towards the city centre. Continue straight until you reach Vuurkruisenplein (you will see the sailing ship Mercator). Take the third exit at the roundabout. Continue straight at the traffic lights. Parking near the venue is paid, and/or limited in time. Check to avoid unpleasant surprises. 

Free parking can be found at the Maria-Hendrikapark (Graaf de Smet de Naeyerlaan): If you are entering Oostende via the E40/A10, take the second exit at the roundabout towards the city centre. Continue straight until you reach Vuurkruisenplein (you will see the Mercator sailing ship). Take the second exit at the roundabout (a supermarket will be on your right). Turn right at the traffic lights and head to the Maria-Hendrikapark outskirts parking.

The Maria-Hendrikapark outskirts parking is free. From there, it’s about a 10-15 minute walk, or you can take Centrumbus Line 1 to the Marie-Joséplein stop (De Grote Post is 100 meters away).
