Take a look at the teaser of the CLAMER documentary ‘Living with a warming ocean’!
Filmed in seven European countries, the 52’ documentary, directed by Com on Planet, focuses on public attitudes towards science communication regarding climate change in Europe, its impact on our marine waters and its wider socio-economic consequences.
The documentary will be premiered at the conference pre-event on 14 September 2011 in Brussels.

The CLAMER deliverable ‘Marine climate science outreach programmes: an evaluation of their success and lessons learnt’ is ready!
This CLAMER document highlights and celebrates outreach successes of research projects focussing on marine climate change issues. The outreach activities of 64 EU and national research were examined in terms of ‘good practice’, innovation and ‘lessons learnt’. The authors recognize that new methods of communication (e.g. social networking tools) may become more important in the future. 14 recommendations with regard to outreach programmes and communicating with the public, stakeholders and policy makers are provided; these range in scope from suggestions of particular tools and techniques that have proven useful or effective elsewhere, to recommendations regarding project strategy, planning and cost-effectiveness.
