ECIMAT celebrates ASSEMBLE Plus with its focused seminars
On 18th July, University of Vigo´s Toralla Marine Science Station (ECIMAT) hosted an ASSEMBLE Plus special edition of their "Café con Sal" conference cycle.
The session started with a brief presentation of “The Transnational Access Program of Assemble Plus: an opportunity to access ECIMAT services“, by Fiz da Costa, the local liaison officer for TA program at ECIMAT.
Next, James Waggitt, an access user, gave a presentation entitled “Studies into coastal seabirds: understanding the importance of currents, topography and meteorology when estimating responses to environmental change”. (The respective Q&A is also available to view).
Finally, Jamie Stevens, who is leading the EverCon1 project 3gave a presentation entitled “What drives contrasting patterns of genetic connectivity in Atlantic octocoral species?". (The respective Q&A is also available to view).
