ARI is a marine station, located at a historically and environmentally unique island in the northern Baltic Sea. ARI offers facilities for marine and terrestrial sampling, experiments and analyses. Research at ARI focuses especially on anthropogenic and climate-induced changes in the Baltic Sea ecosystem. ARI also specializes in conducting and analysing long-term environmental monitoring in the Archipelago Sea.
