VLIZ is one of the main marine information and coordination centres in Belgium. Experts on dealing with marine data are available to give advice and practical help on any aspect of creating, systematising, visualising, and publishing your marine research data.
The Marine Station Ostend (MSO) is the VLIZ laboratory. It provides access to the Belgian North Sea, with research vessels used regularly for campaigns, a marine robotics centre, aquaria, and well-equipped labs. Expert advice on designing and running experiments at the MSO is part and parcel of its service.
