The University of St Andrews (USTAN) is a British publicresearch university in St Andrews, Fife, Scotland. It is the oldest of the four ancient universities of Scotland. St Andrews is made up of a variety of institutions, with 18 academic schools organised into four faculties. USTAN's ASSEMBLE Plus partnership is run by the Scottish Oceans Institute, which is based at the University of St. Andrews. SOI is an interdisciplinary research institute addressing challenges in marine science including climate change, food security, biodiversity and ecosystem services, marine noise and marine mammal conservation. 

USTAN access services for ASSEMBLE Plus are provided by SOI. 

USTAN will offer transnational access (TA) and contribute to NA3, JRA2 and JRA3.
