Marine Biological Association (MBA)
The Marine Biological Association (MBA) is a leading marine biological research organisation, founded in the UK in 1884 and granted a Royal Charter in 2013 in recognition of its status in marine biology. The MBA research programme addresses key issues in biogeochemical and ecological processes and runs a programme of long-term sustained observations in the marine environment. The MBA provides a range of state-of-the-art facilities and expertise along with access to diverse coastal and offshore ecosystems. MBA is a member of several successful networks of excellence, including Euromarine MarBEF, Marine Genomics Europe, EMODnet, and is a founding partner of the EMBRC.

MBA will offer transnational acces (TA), and will contribute to NA2, NA3, NA4, JRA1, JRA2, JRA3 and JRA4.
