The University of Bergen (UiB) is the primary academic marine research organisation in Norway with key expertise in developmental-, ecological-, fishery- and aquaculture-related studies. It collaborates widely and closely with the Institute of Marine Research, which is Norway’s governmental marine research institution that is responsible for monitoring, stock assessments, and engagement within ICES to formulate scientific advice for fishing quotas etc.

UiB will contribute to NA2, NA3 and NA4.
