Location of observed oil slicks from aerial surveillance

  • Definition : The location of each observed oil slick, detected and recorded by the National Aerial Surveillance Programmes, as agreed under the provisions of the Bonn Agreement, by SAIL country territorial waters (for sub-region) in any given year.
  • Calculation : Location of oil slicks, expressed in latitude/longitude
  • Unit : Coordinates (lat/long)
