Technical experts
Technical experts will be invited after two years and at the end of the project to attend technical workshops. This Technical Advisory Board consists out of experts in the field of coastal dynamics from Belgium, France, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Their task is to comment and provide input to the partners in the technical advancements of their activities.
Members of the Technical Advisory Board:
- Catherine Villaret (HR Wallingford) to provide input and expertise in the improvement of wave-propagation models (TOMAWAC), 2D flow models (TELEMAC-2D) and sediment transport (SISYPHE) modules
- Jean-Michel Hervouet (Electricité de France Recherche & Développement) to provide input and expertise in the improvement of the Telemac-Mascaret modelling system
- Prof. Marcel Stive (TU Delft) to provide input and expertise related to the Dutch sand engine and coastal morphology in general
- Arnaud Hequette and Marie-Hélène Ruz (Université du Littoral Côte d’Opale) to provide input and expertise related to morphodynamics, the impact of storm events on sandy beaches and dune dynamics
- Luc Zwartjes (Association of Geography Teachers) to provide input and expertise related to the usability of technical outputs in educational material (e.g. maps)
