Abstract
    This report contains a description of the activities carried out to update the 3 Dimensional Error Matrices used to describe the uncertainty in the Operational Forecasting System of Flanders Hydraulics Research. The task was listed in the framework of project 14_109 “Onderhoud en implementatie van operationele 1D modellen HIC”. The report includes the description of activities carried out to generate the new 3D error matrices and the description of outputs of the task: a tool developed in MatLab named “Error Matrix Generator“(EMG), and 124 new 3D matrices including a calculation report for each station in Flanders where the new matrix was created. The final chapter of this report includes some final considerations and recommendations for further improvement of the representation of the uncertainty in the forecasting system.
