Abstract
Two European beaches are investigated regarding: the population dynamics of the macrofauna and the meiofauna; effects of disturbance on these beaches are evaluated (lab- and field experimental work). The Belgian West coast and the Polish coast (Hel) are the investigated biotopes. Collaboration is present with the Institute of Oceanology in Sopot, Poland.
