Practical Information – Accommodation

Block reservations at special conference rates have been made in six hotels in Oostende within walking distance from the conference venue. The map below gives an idea of their location.

Reservations will be handled by Tourism Oostende on a first come, first served basis. Early reservation is highly recommended as Oostende is very crowded all year round.

Attention! For this to work properly, follow the instructions below!

1. You should first give in your password WITH SPACE between the littoral and 2012, where it says “Please enter your code to continue the search:”.
2. Click the grey Search button to the right of your Code.
3. The sentence “No hotels found” will appear. This is normal cause no dates have been specified yet.
4. Above the “No hotels found”, you should now fill in the next dates:
• From: 27 November 2012, Until: 29 November 2012. If you wish to stay two nights.
• From: 27 November 2012, Until: 28 November 2012. If you wish to stay the first night.
• From: 28 November 2012, Until: 29 November 2012. If you wish to stay the second night.

Any other date will end up in a search with no results.

5. Click the blue search button once you have specified your dates.
6. The list of 6 hotels where we have block reservations should appear, 5 on the first page and 1 on the second page.
7. Click the blue “Book Now” button next to the desired hotel and desired room and follow further instructions on the website.

If you are an invited speaker/chair you will receive a separate e-mail telling you how to book your hotel room .
