Nomenclature The specific name was consistently spelled svelta by Kobelt (1889), and later (Kobelt, 1893: 175) this was stated to be an error for spelta. However, contrary to the claim by Chiarelli et al. (2002: 176), this cannot be corrected under ICZN art. 32.5.1 because it is not "in the original publication itself, without recourse to any external source" nor "a publisher's or author's corrigendum issued simultaneously with the original work [or] ... in one of the parts of the same volume". It has therefore, nomenclaturally the status of an unjustified emendation.  [details]
