AB  - Two species of the genus Polygordius Schneider are mentioned for the first time ín the Argentine Biogeographic Province. Both species were previously known from the north Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. These is the first citation of marine 'archiannelids' in Argentine waters.
