AB  - The Arabellid fauna of the Argentine Biogeographic Province is composed by 11 species arranged in 5 genera. Only one of them has been previously recorded from the area. One species is new to science. The subgeneric taxonomy of <i>Arabella</i> is discussed, <i>Cenothrix</i> Chamberlin and <i>Notopsilus</i> Ehlers being here considered as subgenera.
