World Polychaeta Database (WPolyDb). Year date uncertain but interpreted as 1866 despite the heading date of 1865 for the beginning of the issue. The BHL copy has Weds 12 April 1865 at the heading top of the first page of issue 4 (see page 212) and the printer has 1865 at the bottom of the preceding page (last page issue 3). Thereafter in this volume the printer date (1866) at the end of an issue and the issue date (1865) are in conflict.
Kinberg uses what he calls 'oigyiarum' in Latin as his unit of depth measure, an obscure term which may have been roughly a fathom, seemingly from the ancient Greek measure known as the orguia, which might have been 2 m, somewhat longer than a fathom
