The species Oridia capensis Monro, Fabricia mossambica Day, and Fabricia filamentosa Day, variously referred to Fabricia Blainville or Fabriciola Friedrich, are redescribed. Oridia capensis and F. filamentosa are transferred to Pseudofabriciola Fitzhugh. The original syntype lot of F. mossambica contains specimens assignable to Augeneriella Banse, Fabricinuda Fitzhugh, and possibly Novafabricia Fitzhugh, respectively. Day's original description of F. mossambica was based on species in at least two of these genera. A lectotype is designated, giving the new combination Augeneriella mossambica. A new species, Pseudofabriciola californica, is described from the California coast. Keys are given for species of Pseudofabriciola and Augeneriella, and cladistic relationships within each genus are discussed.
