Urticina felina - aquarium view
Description Underwater image of a sea anemone collected in a DFO trawl survey. Previously identified at Urticina felina but is likely Cribrinopsis similis as the former may not be present in the region. The European species of Urticina felina had not been  taxonomically evaluated for the NW Atlantic until now: Sanamyan et al. (2020). Morphological and molecular assessment of large sea anemones (Actiniaria: Actiniidae) in Newfoundland (eastern Canada).
