Distribution In Belgium, the species only occurs in still brackish waters. [details]
Taxonomy The Hydrobia stagnorum complex contains H. stagnorum, H. ventrosa and H. neglecta . In the past the first two were called Hydrobia stagnorum or Hydrobia ventrosa . This is not doable according to Bank et al. . [details]
