Classification Holthe (1986) erected Lanicini for Lanice, Lanicides, & Paralanice. Stiller et al (2020) included type genus Lanice Malmgren, 1866 and further included Loimia, Axionice, Lanicola, Pista and Scionella. Whereas Hothe had another tribe Pistini for Pista, Scionella, and Axionice, amongst others. Lanicola was created that year, and Loimia was independant of tribe in Holthe. [details]
