Our class exists of fifteen students studying science and maths in the Royal Atheneum Voskenslaan in Ghent. Our city is situated in the northwest of Belgium, approximately 50 km from Brussels, the capital city. Ghent is know for his historical heritage and is recently chosen to be the cosiest town in Belgium.
Our school has over 1000 students in grades three through six. Our class is in the 6th grade , we're all ranging in age from 17 to 19 years old.
Our geography teacher, Mr Plinke, encouraged us to join the Class@Deserts project. We're all interested in sciences, so he found us well-suiting for the project.
