Netherlands Institute of Ecology, Centre for Estuarine and Marine Ecology

The CEME carries out research in estuaries and coastal waters. Its research focuses on the role of biological processes in material cycles: these processes are described, quantified and modelled in order to find out how they influence each other and how they affect the biological diversity of ecosystems.
