ABSTRACT. Eurytemora velox (CRUSTACEA, CALANOIDA) IN MALLORCA. Eurytemora velox is a brackish water dwelling calanoid copepod, listed for the first time in the Balearic Islands. Attending to its distribution in central and northern Europe, it is the first nordic calanoid in the islands. However the existence of a mediterranean ecotype able to produce resting eggs is known.
