Gegevens die moeten worden verzameld, zijn voor de periode 1997-2016 (20 jaar) cross-shore profielen voor de hele kust. Afzonderlijke metingen voor het deel van het profiel boven water en het deel van het profiel onder water worden gecombineerd. De profielinformatie wordt gehaald uit de bestaande LiDAR en single / multi beam bathymetrische opmetingen. De hele kustzone zal worden geschat door honderden profielen. Zij bestrijken het deel van de dijk of duinen tot de kustlijn (ongeveer -5 m TAW).

Abstract in English

Data that needs to be gathered are cross-shore profiles for the whole coast for the period 1997-2016 (20 years). Separate measurements for the part of the profile above water and the part of the profile below water will be combined. The profile information will be extracted from the existing LiDAR and single/multi beam bathymetric surveys. The whole coastal zone will be schematized by several hundreds of profiles. They will expand from the dyke/ dunes to the shoreface (around -5 m TAW).

MorphAn is een software die het beheer van zandkustverdediging ondersteunt. Het is ontwikkeld door Rijkswaterstaat en Deltares voor de Nederlandse kust. Als onderdeel van de CREST-activiteit 3 wordt een eerste versie voor het Vlaamse zandkustverdediging ontwikkeld, inclusief de implementatie van indicatoren voor kustveerkracht.
