Monitoring heavy metals and PCB's in sediment (since 1978) in the Belgian Continental Shelf

Description
In 1978, a monitoring programme on heavy metals in sediment was started. Part of the research is done in the framework of the OSPAR convention for the protection of the seas. Mercury, lead, copper, zinc, chromium, nickel and aluminium are assessed.
