Next to the monthly sampling of the OMES project, an extra 13 hours cycle sample was executed to cover a whole tide range. This kind of sampling was done by UA (1997), VUB (1997) and ULB (2003).

Naast de maandelijkse monitoring in kader van het OMES project, worden er op een 4-tal stations op geregelde tijdstippen ook 13-uurs metingen uitgevoerd om er meetwaarden te verzamelen voor een volledige getijcyclus. Zowel de UA (1997) de VUB (1997) als de ULB (2003) voerden dergelijke staalnames uit.
