Description
Global information on distribution of Euphausiacea (Crustacea) put together at the Institut für Seefischerei in Hamburg. more

KRILL is a database system developed to store information on euphausiid species in a fully digital way. The concept of storing data on biogeography, vertical and horizontal distribution and literature, pictures, was first developed for internal use in the Institut für Seefischerei. this data base is currently not available on the internet. For Euphausiacea, information on species worldwide is entered. data on presence/absence is entered and where possible on density frrom field work as well as from literature records.
