Covenant Flanders - VLIZ (2022 - 2026)

The Flemish Government, represented by the Minister of Economy, Science and Innovation Hilde Crevits, concluded a five-year covenant (Dutch only) with VLIZ on 1 January 2022.

Funding agreement province West Flanders - VLIZ (2017-2021)

The province of West Flanders, represented by the deputation, by delegation in the person of Mr Guido Decorte and Mr Stijn Lombaert, signed a grant agreement (Dutch only) with VLIZ, by which the objectives of VLIZ are confirmed and updated.

Prioritisation ship time RV Simon Stevin

The Scientific Board worked out an assessment framework for application to ship time with RV Simon Stevin. The document was finally approved by the Board of Directors on 27 June 2016. Potential applicants for ship time falling under categories (potentially) not free of charge should contact the Research Infrastructure Manager of VLIZ who will estimate the cost in consultation with FLEET dab.

Policy advice Blue Economy

The specific mandate regarding policy advice and policy support to support economic activities at sea that will be carried out within VLIZ in the course of 2017-2021 are listed in the Strategic Policy Plan (2022).
