On March 3rd, 1984 some twenty specimens of the whale-louse Isocyamus deLphinii (Guérin, 1836) have been collected from a stranded Porpoise Phocoena phocoena. This first record of whale-lice in Belgium is an addition to several similar records - same species, same host - from the Netherlands since 1972.
